So it’s not enough for some of Barack Obama’s opponents to label him a Socialist. He’s actually a Marxist, according to former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay.

DeLay told MSNBC’s “Hardball” Wednesday that “I tagged him as a Marxist months ago,” and explained why: the Democratic candidate’s association with Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Vietnam-era radical Bill Ayers.

“It’s not that Wright makes outrageous sermons, it’s that Jeremiah Wright is a black liberal theology preacher. And 20 years of association means he must agree with the Marxist theology of black liberation theology,” he said of Obama...
